Chrysler Repair: 97 voyager stall when turning right, clockspring, tie rods

Question
why does my van stall and or die when turning right only?replaced pcm, idle air control,o2 sensor, map sensor

Answer
Hi Johnnie,
I can't come up with a right turn-dependent reason for a stall,
except possibly a short circuit in a wire in the steering column/steering wheel interconnection (called the clockspring) but there is nothing I know in that harness that would affect the engine idle/stalling. If you are driving in cruise control when this happens then I would suspect that there is a short in the clockspring that kicks you of that setting, but it shouldn't make you stall/die just coast down to a lower speed.
Could there be a wire harness that is out of position and is being impacted by the motion of the steering system's tie rods? Look under the van for that possibility, while a helper turns the steering wheel, to see if you can get it to die when he turns the wheel right while it is idling.
If it dies then I would try to find some sort of a touching of the steering mechanism to a wire harness which has been damaged such as to be shorted out electrically by the touching.
The only other turn-dependent thing I know of is a cv-joint on either side that id binding up when it is articulated fully in a turning situation (and it would make a clicking sound  if/when that happened), but I doubt it would cause a stall, but try listening for such a clicking sound (with the windows open) while you are turning right.
Finally, were all the part replacements based on fault codes? If not, then you should try for fault codes using the ignition key: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light, that remains 'on', to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause, then repeat the process to be sure you get the same counts, which we have to have accurately to make sense of things. Tell me the counts in the order of appearance and we'll go from there.
