QuestionQUESTION: Can you please advise on how to remove the near side wing mirror, I have done this previously on an old model but this model is different.

AnswerHi Mark,
It appears that the removal is done from outside the vehicle (sure looks like it could be stolen!). If it is a power mirror you begin from the inside by lifting up gently on the end of the instrument cover top pad using a trim stick so as to get access to the electrical power connector and disconnect that. Then from the outside you gently pry up and off the trim cover that is located above the mirror 'wing'. That gives you access to the 2 bolts for removal.
That is about all there is to it.
