Chrysler Repair: Sebring 06: water pump/heater core r&r, diesel mechanic, postal mail

Question
a chrysler dealer has diagnosed our problems as being a water pump leaking and inlet outlet coolant tube
also found the heater core leaking coolant into the passenger floor board.  we were priced $2000 to fix and would like to fix ourselves.  my husband was a diesel mechanic for 10 years.  do you have instructions for this or any help you can give us

Answer
Hi Pam,
The latest manual I have is '03 but it probably will cover it. I have to xerox copyand postal mail the pages to you. Let me know an address, and I'll figure how many pages to copy. It costs me 10 cents a side to do it, and you can send me stamps back to cover the cost after you get them. Tell me which engine you have (L). Also, what 'inlet/outlet coolant tube' might be involved?
