Chrysler Repair: Heater (blower) on high and wont quit, chrysler new yorker, heater blower

Question
I have a 1995 Chrysler New Yorker. The heater is stuck on high and it is 100 degrees outside. The LED does not light up and I have pushed all of the buttons and nothing changes. I pulled fuse #6 and it is still on. What can I do to shut it off until I can get to a repair man?

Thanks, Jeanne Fisher

Answer
Hi Jeanne,
When you say the "heater is stuck on high" I assume that you are speaking of the blower motor speed. If that is correct, then I would suggest that you remove fuse 21 in the fuse box behind the left end-cap of the dash as that is the source of current to the blower module which is supposed to control the blower speed. That module may be has failed
