Chrysler Repair: 96 town and country inner tie rod, inner tie rods, inner tie rod

Question
The van console and steering wheel shake at highway speeds.  I have opted to change my tie rods and stabilizer links.  I have already changed the stabilizer bar bushings. When I take off the bellows on the inner tie rods I see no flats or hex head need to unscrew the inner tie rod, I also do not see anywhere to hold the shaft coming out of the rack either.  I have read that the  4th generation vans don't have removable inner tie rods.  Can you tell me how to remove the inner tie rods or how to check and see if someone installed a newer rack with the inner tie rods attached to it already?

Answer
Hi Micah,
I looked at both the '95 and '98 factory service manuals and find no procedure for changing the tie rods. It appears that the only alternative is to change the steering gear in its entirety which is a big job.  So I would believe there is no way to change these rods without changing the gear. You could go to a dealer parts counter and see in the parts diagrams whether the tie rods are sold as separate parts or not. It appears to me that they are not replaceable.
