Chrysler Repair: 08 T & C: sliding door/power window both failed, wire harnesses, double failure

Question
I HAVE AN 08 TOWN & COUNTRY THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR WONT OPERATE WITH KEY FOB OR THE BUTTON INSIDE, THE WINDOW ON THE SAME DOOR WILL NOT OPERATE... REPLACED THE POWER DOOR MOD. NO HELP...

Answer
Hi Ed,
The latest manual I have is an '05, and in that model there is no power window option in the door proper. But based upon the double failure of both the door motor control and the window control my thought is that there is a single multi-pin disconnect that carries the wires for the two systems (and those systems are probably otherwise electrically independent# and so the only way that both would fail is if the disconnect had separated. Take a look at the base of the B-pillar #that separates the front door from the sliding door opening) to see if you find any multi-wire harnesses that might have separated at a disconnect point. Sorry to not have any manual so new as to be definitive, but that is the idea that comes to mind.
