Chrysler Repair: 02 Sebring convertible no start, obd ii code reader, obd ii code

Question
hi Roland, my 2002 sebring wont start after battery change and I checked all the fuses no response at all and cluster says no bus what is that mean

Answer
Hi Serge,
The cluster 'no bus' is just telling you that it is not getting digital information necessary to run the cluster gauges, that information should get to it from the body computer on a violet/white wire at pin 2 of the cluster's larger plug. That alone would not explain why it won't start. There is another problem...
But you didn't tell me about the starter motor, does it work or not? Does the starter motor click?
If not, does the relay in the box click?
Do you hear any noises when you try start?
Did you move the shifter slightly?
Do you hear the fuel pump run for about 1-2 seconds, then stop, when you turn the key to the run position?
Have you checked for whether there is spark at the spark plugs if the starter is turning the engine over?
Did you look at the fuses that are hidden behind the left-hand end-cap of the dash? Those should be checked too.
Which size engine (L) is in the vehicle?
All those questions being answered would help me to give you some advice.
If you know someone with an OBD-II code reader you could plug that in the the socket under the dash by the steering column. That is another way to get a fault code that would explain what may be wrong. Please consider each of my questions and try to tell me the answers.
Roland
If you would be so kind to 'rate' these answers I would appreciate that very much.
