Chrysler Repair: Interior Lights for 1997 Dodge Caravan, dodge caravan, interior lamps

Hello! My Cousin gave me a 1997 dodge caravan recently...everything works fine except for the lights inside...my cousin said he lost the manual and i am trying to look for manual for it online. My cousin said its just the fuse but I dont know where it is located and how to change it...Please help me out...thanks!

Hi Cathy,
There are actually two fuses that operate different circuits of the interior lamps, so you will want to look at both: fuse #18 (15 amp) and #28 (10 amp) both in the power distribution box underhood near the battery. They are located at the rear of the box, 18 is at the very end of 18 fuses on the in-board edge of the box, and 28 is at the rear corner on the outboard side of the box. Depending upon what isn't working you will find one of those fuses to be blown. If the replacement fuse blows, tell me which and we can divise a strategl;y to find out why.
