Answer
Hi Jon,
An '07 is too new for my to have a shop manual. But the principles apply: If the starter motor is not making a loud click as its solenoid switch closes, then you would think of several reasons:
the park/neutral safety switch is not closing because the shift lever is slightly out of adjustment (so check that by moving slightly off-center of the p or n detent position and try to start),
the starter mitir relay is not working (so open the power distribution box under the hood and while a helper tries the key see if it clicks by touch/sound or not. It is likely found in the front right corner of the box),
the relay may not be good (after removing the relay you can jump a wire from the rear pin of the starter relay socket to the front pin to see if that will cause the starter motor to respond,
the ignition switch may have poor contact for the start positions (you could spray the inside of the swiitch with electronic circuit cleaner from a spray can using the straw applicator),
or the battery is too weak to close the solenoid switch (but the relay's soft click should be present unless the battery were really low).
Those are what I would try first.
