Chrysler Repair: Factory amp for 2004 Pacifica, question pool, rear speakers

We recently purchased an '04 Pacifica and noticed the rear speakers didn't work. We tested tem and they are working but it appears there is no power to them when installed in the rear doors. We ten noticed the factory amp has been removed. Can that be why the rear speakers are not working?

Hi Alex,
I suspect that the amp removal may be the cause as the amp comes with the vehicle, it appears. I wonder though what is powering the other speakers as they too are supposed to be powered by the amp. Is the radio head unit factory standard?
