Hello, what does a 27 and a 43 code mean on a 1996 Dogde Grand Caravan??

The 27 code means that the current flowing in the circuit that pulses the fuel injectors is somehow abnormal (either not large enough or too large) which could be due to either an open or shorted injector or a open or shorted wire to an injector or a flaw in the voltage supply to the injectors from the ASD relay; while the 43 means approximately the same thing as regards the spark coil pack and its primary circuits (3) which use the same ASD relay output and also wires from the coil pack to the engine control module. Because both systems require a solid output of 12v from the ASD relay my thought would be to try switching out that relay with another one with the same part number in the power distribution box where it is located that may be less critical to the function of the vehicle and see if the engine runs better and the codes no longer appear (you can erase the present codes by disconnecting the battery for a minute or so).
