Chrysler Repair: 97 Concorde EGR: codes 0401,0403, egr system, solenoid coil

I replaced the egr system on my 97 concorde after getting P0401%26403 codes.
electric is fine- no shorts, vacumn is fine- no leaks
still getting the same codes, car shuts off intermittently
would appreciate your advice

Hi Jay,
On your EGR problems: when you say no shorts did you check all 5 wires to the solenoid assembly from the pcm? If so and none were open, shorted to ground, or shorter to voltage then either the solenoid coil is shorted or open, or there is a problem with the pcm. I can xerox and postal mail you the 10 trouble-shoot pages from the powertrain manual which may prove helpful. If you would like that just tell me a postal mailing address. After you get them if you would send me back three 44-cent stamps to cover my costs that would be appreciated.
