Chrysler Repair: 2001 Sebring sedan 4cyl., fuse, air bag

Question
40a "Ignition switch" fuse under hood blows when car is started. Seems to only affect Power Windows, Blower & causes Air Bag light to stay on....everything else seems to work ok. After 1st fuse change, started & drove car about 10 times before fuse blew again. I am thinking perhaps something shorting in the Ignition Switch itself. Any ideas? btw: Given what goes out when this fuse is blown, why is it designated "Ignition Switch" fuse?

Answer
because it goes to the ign switch  and that switch part of the circuit powers up alot of what  see does not work any more. It could be the ign switch,or a wire issue from the fuse to the ign switch itself  the other items U see not working have there own fuse  if if they were the cause hoes fuses would pop first because they are lower amps then the 40 that U see blow.
