Chrysler Repair: Chrysler 2004 sebring Convertible 2.7 oil light from sludge build up, liter motor, oil light

Question
Supposedly I have to clean the sludge off the screen on the pump do to sludge build up so my engine doesn't blow only has 80,000 miles.  Going to a dealership is out of the question seeing I was ripped off on this car to begin with. I am looking for diagrams of this 2.7 liter motor and haven't found any was wondering if you have some.  Had it for less than a year and now I read all these reports about this engine and mine is doing what they say it does.  Another question can I replace this 2.7 with another 3.5 or 3.8 v6 I have had two town and country's with the 3.8 and they were the best vans ever.  I am not happy with this car that's for sure.  Well any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Answer
Hi Charlie,
I have the '03 Sebring service manual which has 10 pages about the oil system for the 2.7L engine. I can copy and mail you those so just tell me a postal mailing address by means of a 'private' follow-up question. If after you receive them you would send me back three 44-cent stamps to cover my costs that would be appreciated.
I don't think converting to a larger V-6 is a practical alternative. The other engines in that vehicle are the 4 cyl 2.0 and 2.4L. Sorry to learn of your unhappiness, but maybe these pages will be of help.
