Chrysler Repair: 98 Cirrus V6 cranks, but NO start. Advanced diagnostics?, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position

Question
Hi Roland,
First, I don't have a scanner, but with the help of some of your earler posts with similar subjects, was able to determine that the Crankshaft position sensor was bad and the ASD was shut down.
Now, the ASD PCD pin 30 has VBATT at pins 30 and 86 (key on).
Diagnosed and replaced the Crankshaft position sensor, but still no start. I verified that I NOW am getting a spark on #2 plug.
I suspect that even though PDC/ASD Relay now has voltage at pin 86, the PCM is still not turning on the. ASD Relay? Is there a reset? I confirmed the relay is functional and will deliver VBATT to pin 87 when VBAT supplied to 30 and 86, but no voltage at fuse #1

Here is some info on the current conditions:

I've confirmed that all fuses are good (visual & continuety)
Key off-VBATT voltage to all fuses, except 1, 9 and 10
Key on-VBATT voltage to all fuses, except #1 fuse.
Crankshaft AND Camshaft position sensors get 8V from PCM.
Both put out pulsing 5V during crank AND I get an intermittent spark at cyl #2 plug.
I hear the fuel pump turn on for about a second when key-on.
I now hear the fuel pump run during (and for a split second after) cranking. BTW, I replaced the fuel pump about 6 months ago when it went bad.
BTW, when I bypass the PDC/ASD relay (87), I get VBATT to fuse 1, but it is a little over 1volt lower than VBATT. Is fuse 1 the confirmation to the ASD activating properly? If so, why am I getting spark? Tried the on-off-on-off-on think but get no codes. Is there any other way of getting codes? Am I dead in the water without a reader?
Anxiously awaiting your reply.

Answer
Hi Gus,
I am a bit confused because you didn't specify when you were speaking of fuses you didn't specify whether located in the pdc in the engine compartment or the fuse box in the dash. I can sort it out, probably, but it could lead to a misunderstanding between us.  It seems to me that if you are getting a solid 12v on the dark green/orange wire of the 2-pin plug at the distributor, while cranking, then that is a sign that the ASD is closed and the the sensors of engine position are both working. The question in my mind would be rather with the distributor cap, ignition coil or rotor as possible reasons why your aren't getting good spark to all 6 plugs. So check that out. You are aware that the spark plug wires are not arranged 123456 on the cap (which is the firing order, because of internal re-wiring in the cap), correct? So let's discuss these possibilities.
Roland

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I was referring to the fuses in the PDC in the engine compartment. Fuse #1 DOES have VBATT (battery voltage=aprox 12v) while cranking as does the dark green/orange wire, put it all back together and it started right up. Thank You so much for all of your help, not only for your replies to my questions, but to all the others that you answered that lead me to diagnose the problem with the Crankshaft position sensor.

Hi Gus,
Thanks for letting me know the good news. Wonder what might have been wrong, but we'll keep out fingers crossed.
