Chrysler Repair: flickering lights, amp fuse, tight connections

Question
I have a 51 2.5 td voyager. I have a electrical problem. All the lights inside and out of the car flicker. I found that the 20 amp fuse for the fuel heater had blown. When replaced the lights worked fine. but the fuse only lasts a few days if that. I disconnected the fuel heater and thought I had fixed the problem. I thought wrong. What is the link with the fuel heater fuse and the flickering lights. You can feel the whole pulsing sensation through the engine. Many thanks

Hi Peter,
Earlier this month I answered your question about your car and hope that is is repaired now. I have a favor to ask:
I am competing to be recognized as 'volunteer of the month' at this site. Would take a moment to click on the "Thank/rate the expert" button below?  You will then see a question which asks whether to nominate me for that award. If you then click on "yes" that would give me another vote. Thank you for your help.

The power for the heater and for the lights comes on the same major red wire from the battery to the integrated power module. From there it is spread across several fuses to fuel heater and the body computer (which powers the interior lights) and to fuses for the exterior lights. So a great many circuits are drawing on the same red wire. I can see how if one of the components, the fuel heater, was drawing on the wire and at the same time its fuse was beginning to overheat from drawing more than 20 amp. that the voltage across the entire set of fuses could be oscillating due to the overdraw of the heater combined with the rest of the circuits. You might want to check the battery posts for tightness and the ground connections of the wires on the - post clamp to be sure of clean tight connections on the return path of current to the battery. Particularly if the flicker continues even with the fuel heater disconnected I would believe the issue is related to poor connections at the battery and the grounds rather than anything having to do specifically with the fuel heater.
