Question
im fixing a 95 concorde and need to bypass the theft system. i tryed jumping wire the green and orange. no luck. tried using the keys to open both doors. tried just about everything.scan tool says theft system en-abled, no fuel allowed, but it will allow it for the the first 5 seconds of engine start. Every sensor is fine from what the scan tool is saying. can you help me?

Answer
Hi Logan,
The primary disarm is via the light green/orange wire which if you jumped it to a good ground connection and then removed the ground connection should disarm the theft system. You might try disconnecting the battery and touching the two cable clamps together for a minute, then reconnect, do the light green/orange jump and release again and see if that 'clears' the system. It may be that if you or another person unplugged one of the body computer plugs while the system was armed it may have put it into a 'hard' shut down condition which requires a DRB to 'reset' the alarm. Are you using the Chrysler DRB or an aftermarket type?
The 5 second fuel shut off is in fact the program used to stop the theft, so indeed that is what we have to over-ride.
