Chrysler Repair: blend (heat-cool)door actuator:02 Stratus, heat duct, dodge stratus

Question
Where is the heat door actuator located oa a 2002 dodge stratus? Everything works fine except I can not get any hot air out of any of the vents. I think it is on the bottom of the heat box due to the fact that this is the only one hooked up that is not moving unless ther is one located where i can not see it.

Hi Sammy,
The blend door actuator is on the bottom of the unit as is the mode door actuator. The blend door is toward the center while the mode door is toward the right hand end. The lower heat duct appears to have to be remove to get better access to the blend actuator. Notice the relationship between the actuator and the cam to which it mates as you remove it. The blend door plug has 5-wires: dark blue/white, dark blue/red, red/white. pink/dark blue, dark blue/gray. That will help you identify it. Screws hold the actuator in place.
