Chrysler Repair: 98 Concorde remote keyless entry, chrysler concorde lxi, chrysler concorde

Question
QUESTION: I have a 98 Chrysler Concorde LXI and a used keyless entry fob. I would like to re-program it myself rather than take it to the dealership. I have gone over your instructions for similar year vehicles and tried them but can't get it to work. There isn't a "pin 4" in my traction control module. Is there some other way or am I missing something? Is it possible that my car is not equipped with this feature? How do I get it to work? Thanks,
Monica

ANSWER: Hi Monica.
I believe that you have to have the feature on-board, and that you have to have working key fob in order to program another fob into the system. I can tell you how to find the module for the keyless to see if you have it, but you will still have to go to a dealer or a shop with a high level diagnostic box to get it programmed.

QUESTION: Ok, how do I find the module for the keyless entry? Or where do I find it in my car?

Answer
Hi Monica,
Did you figure out the RKE? If you would like to tell me there is a "Thank/rate the expert" button below which if you click will take you to page where you can "comment".
May I also ask a favor? On that same page you will see the question "Would you like to nominate this expert to be 'volunteer of the month"? If you will click on "Yes" that would be appreciated.  I am competing for that recognition which is based on nominations from questioners like yourself. Achieving it will increase awareness of the Chrysler repair category.

Hi Monica,
I just checked the proper manual and find that it is located on the side of the joint unit under the dash called the fuse box/body control module. It has a white three wire plug, with two wires in use that go to the RKE antenna which is nearby. So get under the dash on the left side (remove the knee bolster for better viewing perhaps) and find the rear side of the fuse box (at the left end cap of the dash) and its attached bcm, and look at the long side of that combined module closest to the blue plug (of four on the end of the module) to see if there are two wires coming out of a plug on the side of the combined module. If so, you have it.
