Chrysler Repair: Dome light installation: 95 LXi Sebring, chrysler sebring lxi, chrysler sebring

I have 1197 Chrysler sebring LXI with a sunroof and want to add a dome light. Is it possible and where might I find detailed instructions?

The '95 manual that I have shows that for that year at least there was a dome light in both the standard body and the sunroof body. The wiring is similar, though the switches are slightly different. I would start by checking at a dealership to see if you could get the fixture, and to see how it would be mounted to the roof. I can send you the wiring diagram that shows it for '95. If your sunroof is installed aftermarket, the mounting and wiring may already be there? unless they took it out to install the sunroof.
