Chrysler Repair: 2003 Sebring key fob reprogram, fuse box, key fobs

I have a 2003 sebring convertible. The key remotes had been working fine until I decided to replace the batteries in all of them. Now I do not have any functioning remotes. What do I need to do to reactivate the key fobs?

To reactivate (reprogram) you have to have at least one remote that works. Otherwise you have to have a dealer do the job with a diagnostic readout box. I wonder if it has anything to do with the batteries, or rather is it a failure of the system itself because the fob is not dependent on a battery to retain its program? If you can get any one of them to work, then let me know and we can try to reprogram the others to the system. But I would suggest that you check fuses 3,8,17,18,19 in the power box under the hood, and fuses 5,9,11,15 in the fuse box behind the dash (remove left end cap for access). Maybe one of the fuses that power the body computer has blown and disabled the system. If those look OK and none of the remotes work, it will require diagnosis and programming with the DRB at a dealer.
