hey Roland, i had to replace a cam sensor in my 99 Chrysler 300 m. i replaced it but my car is still having difficulty starting.  what else could be the problem?

What fault codes do you have from a fault code readout? You can get a free readout at the Autozone parts store. Hard starting, assumng you have spark, is usually a mixture issue. Have you tried cleaning out the throat, both sides of the butterfly plate, and idle side air passageway, all at the throttle body? Another common problem is the egr valve being stuck slightly ajar which leans out the mixture, but it is a lot of work to take it out to check, so only try that in the absence of any mixture-related fault codes. The MAP sensor too might be inaccurate, without setting a fault code. So see what its signal reads when you just have the igniton in the run position. It should be about 4.6-4.7V. If it is much lower it could be inaccurate, depending upon your local elevation above sea level. That value is for near sea level.
