Chrysler Repair: 2003 Chrysler sebring-wont stay running, chrysler sebring, outrageous amounts

the car will start and stay running as long as gas is pressed.  was driving the other night and everything cut off.  have had many people give suggestions as to what problem may be but i need to narrow it down to have it fixed without spending outrageous amounts at dealership.  some suggestions i have gotten are throttle body, o2 sensor, ais motor, idle sensor.  any ideas?  i am in great need of some help.  thank you

I would suggest getting a fault code readout at an Autozone parts store, for free, or at an independent shop for maybe less than $40. It may be that you can get the codes with the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then see if the mileage reading changes in the odometer to show and 4-digit codes preceded by a P. In either case, let me know what codes you get and we can go from there.
