Chrysler Repair: 99 minivan transmission limp-in problem, input sensor, diagnostic check

Question
I have replaced the range sensor, input sensor and output sensors on our caravan. I am still stuck in limp mode even after I had the codes cleared. When the codes were cleared I saw one that I had not seen before. It was something to do with the bus line and the bcm. The previous code p0500 was something to do with the tcm. that code did not re-register this time when they were cleared. Now I am getting possible bcm, pcm, or bus problem codes. The prndl when I start the van lights up with all the boxes around each letter and will not shift. When I turn off the car and flip the key a few times fast and restart the car it works like it should. What do you think is going on?? It's giving me nightmares trying to figure it out and I simply cannot afford to go to the dealer and pay for a diagnostic check right now. What direction do you think I should look to next???

Thanks,
Erik

Answer
Hi Erik,
There are two possible ways to get the codes for free. Go to an Autozone parts store where they will often do the readout for free. Try the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage reading changes to show the four-digit fault codes. Either way, let me know what you learn and we'll go from there.
