Chrysler Repair: 2000 T&C lift gate strut, mounting bolt, bolt hole

Question
The right lift gate strut on my 2000 Chrysler T&C just broke. The mounting bolt to the body sheared off.  How do I get the sheared bolt out of the body?  With the lip of the body there is no room to get a drill bit to the bolt.  The bolt is sheared off slightly inset in the bolt hole.  The lift gate bolt is fine. Where do I get a new body bolt?

Answer
Unfortunately about all I can suggest is to consider whether there would be any help to  remove the inside trim panel that covers that D-pillar where the sheared bolt is located. Other than checking with a body shop for ideas I can't suggest anything else.
If you want the instructions on removing the inner trim panel let me know as I can xerox that and postal mail it to you.
