Chrysler Repair: DTC P0736 on a 1998 chrysler Town and Country, chrysler town and country, speed sensors

Question
I have a 1998 town and country that has a DTC. it is P0736. I looked it up and cannot find too much info on the code. The vehicle itself will not pull forward or backward. It was where you could give it alot of gas or raise the rpms and it would kick into gear. I am looking for a friend of mine to help him fix it. i went to technical school and like I said have not had much luck with it. If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.

The transmission fluid is good and is right where it is supposed to be. It is cherry red. Is it the torque converter, the input or output speed sensors or is it a internal leak somewhere?? That code is the only code that comes up and the check engine light doesn't come on. meaning I think that its going into limp in mode.

Like I said if you have any info I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank You
sincerely,
John
