Chrysler Repair: 1997 minivan overhead console removal, overhead light, junkyard

Question
I picked up a replacement overhead light/sunglass holder unit at the junkyard which came out easily with 1 screw removed.  The one in my plymouth does not want to come out easily even with the screw removed.  How do I pop out the old unit?

The '98 manual that I have says to open the transmitter bin and remove the screw, then open the eyeglass bin door and press the tab located just above the door latch. Then lower the rear of the console and then pull it rearward to disengage from the front clips. Then remove the wiring connectors being sure to push in fully on the locking tabs.

PS The '95 manual is different saying to push the console forward after removing the screw. But I suspect the '98 procedure applies to your '97.
