Answer
Hi Billy,
With fuel, spark, and presumed compression, I am left to think of Mixture as the problem.
My first thought is that you have an egr valve that is sticking slightly ajar rather than closing tightly which results in a too lean mixture at start up and at idle to sustain either.
It is located near the end of the engine just across from the throttle body where you will see a small diameter pipe connecting those two parts that pases behind the dipstick for the transmission (I believe, based on the drawing in my '99 manual). If you examine the valve you will see it is mounted in that pipe (that is the body of the valve) and it has a round top with vacuum hoses attached, and between the body and top there is a flange inside of which you will see a rod which is the stem of the valve. That stem should move back and forth, opening and closing, and you can observe the motion because of a circumferential slot in the stem. Take the tip of a screwdriver and insert it in the slot and use it to move the stem back and forth, noting that internal spring-action attempts to close it. If the stem doesn't close to a dead stop by means of that spring-action then spray some WD-40 on the stem where it enters the valve body and move it some more to free up the action. Once you feel it is seated tightly, try to start the engine. If it still won't start you may want to unbolt it and clean out the air passages of the valve body and verify that the seat of the valve is not so cruddy that it would fail to seal.
Let me know if that doesn't solve the problem, but it is so common as a cause of no start with no codes that I believe it may work for you.
