Chrysler Repair: 95 LXi Cirrus starter will not crank, fuel pump relay, fuse box

Question
Have a 95 LXi Cirrus that has had some troubles in the past but running fine until last night. Girlfriend said car was acting like it didn't want to start. Got it home from work and will not start now. Lights, radio, everything works but car will not even attempt to crank or turn over. Battery shows 12v on meter, check connections on battery itself, left disconnected for a while. Still no luck. No CEL or trouble codes. Fuses appear fine, have fuel pump relay noise when trying to start as well.

Answer
Hi Justin,
It would appear to me that the battery is either too low on charge or is unable to put out the current necessary to crank over the starter motor. Open the fuse box/relay box under the hood and check also to see if the starter relay is clicking when you try the start position. That is one of four relays way in the back of the box, down a step from the front section of the box. It is the front one on the driver side. Feel it/listen to be sure it is clicking when you hit the start position. If so, then I would check to see how old the battery is compared to its warranty/put a charger on the battery to see if you can get it to rise up to 12.6 or more volts.  If the relay doesn't click then move the gear shift lever a little to one side or other of the detent position in case it is slightly out of adjustment.
