Chrysler Repair: codes U1106, U0155, U0140 BCM, oxygen sensors, right cylinder

Question
Our minivan ('05 Town&Country Touring...hope that's not too far out of your expertise) read these codes at Autozone, who said we need a Body Control Module.  I read on another blog it may also be the instrument cluster.  SYMPTOMS are: AC blows but distributes warm/hot air, radio turns off, and the instrument cluster loses power (digital displays turn off and gauge dials move into off position).  QUESTION: Is this something easy enough for an amateur to repair or is it one of those "only mechanic" repairs.  Also, are there any aftermarket BCMs around or is this an OEM part only?

Answer
Hi Paul,
The 140 and 155 both have to do with the oxygen sensors on the exhaust system not functioning properly. Specifically the one after the catalytic converter on the right cylinder bank and the one before the cat. converter on the left side (probably on the exhaust manifold.
I would want to investigate the 1106 further before opting to replace the bcm. It may be something else but without the specifics and the wiring diagrams I can't be too helpful. My most recent minivan manual is an '02.

PS I now have found the 1106 to be regarding the Manifold absolute pressure sensor showing intermittently high voltage.
Interestingly, none of the 3 codes Autozone gave you has anything to do with the body computer.
The symptoms you mention smack of a loss of 12v power in the case of the instrument cluster and radio, while the failure to produce cold air is either a loss of refrigerant such that the compressor will not activate (safety circuit prevents) or the blend air door/door actuator are not doing their job. I can look in the '02 manual to see about a fuse issue regarding the radio  and the instrument cluster if you would like. Also, the heater/ac control does a self diagnostic test that will tell you whether it is the blend door cause or not, but do check to see if the compressor is or is not coming on when you ask for cooling.
I await your decision.
