Chrysler Repair: Dodge Dynasty 92:fault codes 13,23, 42, engine control modules, dodge dynasty

Question
QUESTION: after having to change engine on a dodge dynasty 1992 with a dodge dynasty 1990 J have three code error 13,23,42 need helps please

ANSWER: Hi Claude,
You didn't mention which of several possiblie engines you have substituted so I can't be sure about specifics of each code as applied to your situation. The 13 says that the MAP signal (intake manifold barometric pressure) is not changing or not present as the engine starts/idles, the 42 says there is a short or open circuit for the Automatic Shutdown Relay and the 23 appears to only be applicable to the 2.5L turbo I engine and if that is what you have then it is saying the the temperature sensor for the incoming fuel/air ('charge') is not at a level which is valid. If you don't have that engine, then read the codes again to verify the count.
Let me know the specific engine and some of the relevant history and I might be able to give you some ideas at to how to proceed. Has the engine run, or is it refusing to start? Were the engines that were exchanged identical? Did you substitute engine control modules as well?

QUESTION: Hi Roland J have to change the engine harness and also the harness of alternator and Al sensor and fuel rail and the harness and the intake manifold whit the engine brooken Engine to break is the 1992 and the good engine is the 1990 I do not have to change the connector off the transmission but the transmission off the 1992 has three speed and the transmission instal whit the engine 1990 has four speed
The engine run malfonction whit the ecu of the 1990 but a change the ecu 1990 for the 1992 the engine not run  is very hard to understan my problem

Answer
Hi Claude,
I think this is too complex for me to sort out. The transmission control and the type of transmission is important too. You will need to have a transmission controller for the 4-speed if it is installed now (and you will the transmission harness if the car originally had the three speed (do you mean a three speed automatic or a three speed manual transmission?) and the ecu will also have to be for the '90 engine/transmission because that one has to communicate with the engine. I have the wiring diagrams for both years and I could copy them and postal mail them to you. You are trying a modification that seems to have a lot of 'surprises' unfortunately. That we can not communicate too well also adds to the difficulty of helping you.
