Chrysler Repair: 1996 Chrysler LHS, 1996 chrysler lhs, throttle position sensor

Ihave taken excellant care of this LHS with 200K on it. Inside and out it is like new. But now it is surging and ideling at about 500rpm. The code from the computer is 52 whic my manual says rich mixture citing poor information from the O2 sensor. I am a technicial engineer who for the first 25 yesrs of life worked as a dealership mechanic for GM and Ford. Engine building as well as all chassis electrical. Now the question, which damn sensor? can I read a voltage or resistance from each to test them? are there expanded codes available via an electronic reader? Thanks
