Chrysler Repair: 98 cirrus no gas or spark, powertrain control module, fuel pump relay

Question
can u help me it has rpm signle but no codes and no gas or spark it turns over fine

Answer
Hi Jeff,
Without any codes it is tricky. Are you sure you tried 'on-off-on-off-on and leave on' doing that in an elapsed time of 5 seconds or less? No codes showed up in the odometer window or no flashing of the check engine light?
About all I can see, if by no gas you mean that you don't hear the fuel pump run even for just a second or so when you turn the key to 'run' position, then I would take a close look at fuse #10 in the box under the hood (10 amp) as that sends power to the fuel pump relay actuation coil and to the powertrain control module. If it were blown or subtly cracked that would likely kill the pump and the spark. It is the inboard fuse in the row of three fuses just in front of the larger fuses. Also check that it has voltage on it in the 'run' position as the ignition switch might be bad and not providing any voltage to it.
