Roland, you responded earlier ( 1998 with 1776 code ) to possible resolutions.  Would these be the same for my M ?

You also noted a Chrysler 4 pg. document to assist.  Any chance I could get a copy ?

Hi Bob,
That code is about the LR solenoid being inappropriately latched. I can tell you the main possibilities: the low/reverse pressure switch itself, the transmission relay output circuit being 'open', the l/r switch sense circuit to ground open or to 12V, the TCM module, wiring/connections intermittently open/shorted. The four pages involve diagnosis with the aid of the professional grade diagnostic tool that only a shop could afford.
