Chrysler Repair: 94 Plymouth Acclaim, 94 plymouth acclaim, fuel pump relay

Question
I have a 94 Plymouth Acclaim and the engine isn't turning over
at all and there is no fire to the starter I thought it might
be the battery so I got a new battery put in it but still
nothing could you please help me

Answer
Hi Amanda,
Open the hood and look on the driver's side back corner for a row of 5 or so relays going around the corner. If you have the 2.5L engine the relay next to the fender is the starter motor relay. Have a helper try the key in the start position while you listen and feel the relay to see if it clicks.
Also listen/feel the relay in-board of the starter relay, which is the fuel pump relay and see if it clicks when the helper turns the key just to the 'run' position, not going all the way to the start. It should click again after a second.
Let me know if it is or is not doing those things.
Try moving the gear shift lever slightly off center from the normal park or neutral detent position where it has to be for safety when you try the starter.
Let me know which engine and type of transmission you have.
There are some other things to check but first we have to know about the relay functions
