Chrysler Repair: 99 Sebring Convert: resistor block repeat failure, blower motor resistor, repeat failure

I have replaced the blower motor resistor but it stopped working again after about 2 weeks. Also now only the defrost works and only on high.

Hi Michelle,
If you replaced the resistor yourself did you take care to gently separate the the resistors so they weren't contacting? If so, then I would believe that the blower motor itself is overdrawing the current which is normal and thus burning out the resistors. So consider replacing the blower motor next. If not, then try another resistor block.
