Chrysler Repair: 96 lhs refrigerant (134a ok?), chrysler lhs, r 134

I am going to try to charge my ac my self. 96 Chrysler lhs. What type of refrigerant do i need ?

I believe that you have R-134 in that system. But you will also be able to tell because the fittings are different for the two. My '96 Cirrus/Stratus manual speaks only of 134 so I believe that would be what you will find. In fact the Haynes for the LH says R-12 ended in the '92 model year, so it is virtually certain you are 134.
