how do you replace the tansmisson mount on a 1988 lebaron
sedan 2.5 non turbo automatic trans

Hi Andy,
I believe that all you need to do is support the engine by putting a 2 x 4 (or two of them) on a floor jack and lifting the jack to press the 2 x 4 (s) against the bottom of the oil pan (length wise) and then lift jack just enough to take the weight of the engine and transmission off of the mount. Then remove the mount attachments to the crossmember (1 long bolt) and to the transmission (several bolts), and the mount should then be free to  be removed. Then install the new mount and lower the jack.
