Help, I have a 91' Chrysler Lebaron GT with the V-6 3.0 and it has only 44,000 miles on her. Recently it would not go in to any forward gears but will still go in reverse. When we put it in gear it feels like it locks up.

Hi Joe,
Have you checked the fluid level on the trans dipstick? Use only ATF+4 type fluid, but don't overfill it. Add via the dipstick tube.
Other than that, I would recommend getting a fault code readout of the trans controller memory using the 6-pin data link connector located under the dash near the fuse box. Get any 2-digit fault code number and let me know and we can go from there. You would probably want to go to an independent trans shop for that readout. It is an OBD-I type or reader that is needed and a connector that matches the socket under the dash.
