Chrysler Repair: rear view mirror, rear view mirror, auto parts stores

Question
My rear view mirror fell off the windshield of my 1998 Voyager minivan.  I have glued it on a couple of times with superglue it it worked temporarily (a couple of months each time).  But it fell off again recently and when I tried to glue it on again, the glue would not set (I think because the temperature was 5 degrees Celsius (about 40 F)
Nice winter weather here in Alberta for DEC but not conducive to gluing things ;-)
Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions as to what would "really work".  Is there a special glue or two sided tape that they use?  Do I have to get the windshield to room temp to use it? I son't have a heated garage and temperature is soon to be -25 Celsius (ouch.. cold even for us hardy Canadians!)

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Ray,
Check around at you local auto parts stores. I had the same thing happen to my '89 Le Baron. I had seen a superglue-like product, only it is superior and designed for exactly the purpose you have in mind. It cost around $5 for enough to do just one mirror but it works for sure. Just ask for rear vier mirror cement or something like that. Follow the instructions. I can't recall the details on the application temp limits. You will want to remove all the residual superglue from both interfaces.
