Chrysler Repair: 2002 Sebring: Timing belt replacement, timing belt replacement, signs of fatigue

Question
My owner's manual does not reference changing the timing belt.  I have just over 106k miles; when should it be done?

Answer
Hi Pete,
The recommendation is at 102,000 miles for the 2.4 and 2.5L engines.  I would be inclined to visually inspect the belt for any signs of fatigue and if absent wait for while longer. The 2.7L has a timing chain(s) so nothing needs to be done for it.
