Question
QUESTION: were is the IAT sensor located on a 1999 Chrysler LHS

ANSWER: Hi Rick,
It is screwed into the intake manifold. It has a single black two-wire plug, with wire colors black/light blue and black/red. It is hidden under the black center cover of the 3.5L engine, on the inside surface of the rear right manifold tube.

QUESTION: I am trying to hook up a performance module it is supose to replace the IAT sensor my 3.5 has 4 wires the blk/lightblue,blk/red,purple,and a green wire wich 2 wires do I hook it to.

Answer
Hi Rick,
Yes, I see that the '99 3.2/3.5L has a combined IAT and MAP sensor. The purposes are: violet/white (5V supply), dark green/red (MAP sensor signal) black/red (IAT signal) and black/light blue (sensor ground).
So it would be the latter two wires to hook the new module to. The first two (actually first, second and fourth) are for the MAP. Sorry, I had looked at the '98 2.5L wiring diagram in my first response.
