Chrysler Repair: 2004 Sebring rear blinker light, 2004 chrysler sebring, chrysler sebring

Question
Exactly what do I have to do to replace the rear blinker bulb(on the Driver's side) of my 2004 Chrysler Sebring? HELP ! :/

Answer
Hi Nancy,
The entire tail lamp assembly has to be removed from that corner of the car to access the bulb socket. You would start in the trunk where you will find that the electrical wire harness connector is held in place by a red sliding lock connector. Slide the red lock, then press the release tab and the connector should separate.
There are then wing shaped nuts (it appears to be three) which secure the assembly to the body, so remove those. Then the assembly should be removable from outside. Then locate the blinker bulb and turn its socket 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to release the bulb holder. Then replace the bulb. Then reverse the procedure.
