Where is the connector located?

Hi Joe,
The connector is under the dash, just behind the lower edge of it, directly in line with the steering column (or just to the right or left of it).
Have the ignition off when you plug it in. Then start the engine and turn on the AC, if possible. If not then just turn the ignition to the run position. Then turn the ignition off.* Then read the codes.
Then turn the ignition on and erase the codes. Then off, and verify no codes remain

* The manuals differ on this point. If you get no codes, then just leave the ignition in the "run" position" (with the engine not running) and read the codes. I can't be certain but one way or the other you should get codes. Disconnecting the battery will also erase any store codes, so don't do that until after you have read the stored codes.
