Question
Addendum to question posed by Jack Griffith (my grandson)

Answer
Hi Ralph,
Fuel pump pressure or obstructed fuel flow is always a possibility, though before replacing parts I would want to measure the fuel pressure to verify that was the issue. Because of the inability to readout any fault codes I suggested that he verify that the ignition was "on" at the time they tried the readout. I haven't heard back as to that possibility so I await further feedback. Codes are the best way to begin remediation of a driveability problem. I am pleased that you saved unnecessary expenses for your transmission.
