Chrysler Repair: 1997 Chrysler LHS good battery, no electrical, 1997 chrysler lhs, chrysler lhs

Question
I put a new battery in my LHS. Battery works in another car. I have no power to anything, no curtesy lights, no dash lights, turning the key does NOTHING. I checked all the fuses.

Answer
Hi Chris,
You would want to check the following:
The battery terminals and the inside surfaces of the cable clamps are shiny and tightly connected
The ends cable wires are tightly connected to the clamps, and not corroded through
That the two minus cable clamp wires are tightly and cleanly connected to the body and to the engine.
That the plus cable wire is connected at the torpedo shaped disconnect nearby.
That the plus cable clamp wire is connected to the bus bar at the power distribution box.
One of those items is not making contact and that would solve your problem. If necessary use a 12 volt glow light to verify the voltage from the battery is present everywhere along these paths.
