Chrysler Repair: Replacing schocks on a 2000 sebring convertable, xerox copy, postal mail

Question
Hi I hope you can answer a simple question.  My friend is going to replace my shcoks front and back but does not know if a spring compressor is needed.  Can you advise?

Thanks Tim

Answer
Hi Tim,
Yes, the front does requires a compressor/clamp, but not the rear.
It is a detailed enough procedure that I would recommend that you have the pages from the shop manual for this job. Either a Haynes or xerox copy of the pages from the Chrysler manual would do it. I can xerox copy the latter pages and postal mail them to you. It costs me 10 cents per side plus postage, and there might be 8 pages. You can reimburse me with postage stamps to cover these costs after you receive them.
Use the "thank and rate" tab to let me know if you want them. Put your postal mailing address in the 'comments' section.
