when u listen .i instaled  new filter  new psi  regulator.if your pour fuel into
the intake it runs fine till fuel burns up . what is voltage @ the pump
connection on tank is lack power possibly = lack psi

Answer
Hi Brannon,
The fuel pump runs on battery voltage. If it is sounding normal then I doubt it is the voltage/current as the cause. You could try measuring voltage and then jumping across the points of the fuel pump relay to verify that 12V is there and getting to the dark green/black wire that goes to the pump. That jump would be from the back pin to the front pin, with 12V showing on the back pin. If that shows 12V then you would suspect the pump or possiblly the internal pre-filter inside the tank. Thus you would be going to have to drop the tank to get to the pump and its plug, where you could verify that there is 12 between pins 1 and 4 of the plug to the pump.
