Chrysler Repair: Fuel injector problem (half dont work): 4 cyl., 97, cam shaft position sensor, pulley bolt

Question
QUESTION: Hi Alex
My 1997 neon still giving me problems with the injectors 3 and 4.These injectors don´t work, i sopose an ecu problem, then i replace and the problem stay here.I check the wirings, no problem, check coil an spark, everything ok.My problem is the injectors 3 and 4.How can i do??
I need to check the hall sensor conections, if you can tell-me the order and color of wirings in these part.

ANSWER: Hi Marcelo,
Your question just came up on the "pool" so I hope you may have solved the problem already. The cam sensor has an 8 volt supply on its orange wire, a black/light blue as a sensor ground, and a tan/yellow as the pulsing signal wire. The crank sensor has the same two supply and ground wires and its signal wire is gray/black. You should be able to see the voltage pulsing if you turn the engine over by hand using a ratchet on the crank pulley bolt.
You could also look for pulsing on the injector control wires (the common 12v wires are dark green/orange, so look at the voltage on the other wire of each of the injectors as you turn the crank, you should see a pulse every second revolution of the engine.

QUESTION: Yeah, the dc voltages are here, but the pulse in the 3 and 4 injectors are loosed. When i put my Fluke in the wire in 1 and 2 injectors, i can see 12 v pulsing, then the injectors work.that´s not present in 3 and 4, but the 12 v common line(green/orange)is ok.My engine run with only 2 cylinders, too bad.
I put three ECU's in that car, and the problem still here.
My ECU, 9997ac, one other 9958ae, and now another one 9997ac.So..............

I´m looking for a yard

Thanks by your interesting

Answer
Hi Marcelo,
It is either the wires to the two injectors, the cam shaft position sensor, or the ecu. I don't understand the ECU fault numbers that you listed, they don't seem to be in the OBD-II list that I have, so let me know what they might mean, by your manual.
The wire for injector 3 goes to pin 7 at the ecu and the wire for injector 4 goes to pin 16. See if those are connected.
If any of those codes relate to cam sensor, then I would replace the cam sensor. Otherwise it looks like a used ecu is the answer.
