Chrysler Repair: 93 Chrysler 5th Ave, 3.3L alternator R & R, intake plenum, fwd cars

Question
Hi! I am trying to replace the alternator in my 93 5th Ave 3.3 V-6. I have decent set of tools & general knowledge, but am not too familiar with fwd cars. Mostly work with pre-1990 rear-wheel drive stuff. Looks like alt should come out
best from top. Steering rack looks like it's in the way for removal from bottom, as someone suggested they did on their T & C minivan 3.3. I have the belt off, 2 bolts off bracket (top of intake & right of pwr steering reservoir) & found 3rd bolt way under bracket, behind pwr steering reservoir. Having tough time getting to it. Looks like a 15mm swivel-head socket (one type of socket set I don't have . . . yet!) & long ext bar might work? Is that the only other bolt holding bracket? Any tips for getting lower bolt out of alt? Awful tight back there! Any advice appreciated! Thx!

Answer
Hi John,
The steps are:
Note the "mounting" and "support" bracket terminologies:
Loosen but don't remove nut on the support bracket at exhaust manifold
Remove the alternator tensioner power steering bracket bolt
Remove the tensioner stud nut and the tensioner
Remove alternator mounting bolts-2
Remove power steering reseroir from the alternator mounting bracket
Remove three alternator support bracket bolts
Remove intake plenum to alternator mount bracket bolt
Remove entire alternator support bracket
Position the alternator to obtain access to wiring and disconnect wiring
Remove alternator
Reverse to install.

Hi John,
Thank you for the kind evaluation and nomination. If I can clarify anything please don't hestitate to let me know. It is a bit clearer with a drawing, as shown in the manual I was quoting from, but I cannot post drawings on this site. I hope you have succeeded.
